Museum Phippsburg Artifacts Display
Celebration Day at Popham on Friday,
- Pirate Ship: Arrives at 10:00 a.m.
Village invasion at 1:00 pm Treasure hunts and great prizes,
sword fights, pirate games and cannons firing! Arrrrgh!!!!! Kids
and Adult costume contest with more great prizes.!
- Food: 12 to 2 pm & 5
to 7 pm - Hamburgers, Hot Dogs & Soda. 5 to 7 p.m. Fish &
- Music in the Chapel: 2 to
2:30 pm Deborah Sandler on Baroque harp, 2:30 to 3:15 pm Dick Hankinson
on piano, playing George Gershwin, Jerome Kern and Cole Porter, 3:15 to
3:45 pm Dennis Doiron on guitar - The Saltwater Hillbilly, 3:45 to 4:15
pm Deborah Sandler on harp with Celtic Music.

- History in the Library: 200
years of History! Children's coloring contest with prizes. Drinks

prizes! Commemorative stamp cancellation on 200th postcards. 200th
Anniversary Memorabilia Table. Sponsored by Popham Chapel, Popham

- Parking and Transportation: Parking in the village is
limited. Free parking and bus service from Small Point Baptist
Church and other locations to be announced.

200th Anniversary Boat Parade
and Blessing of the Fleet
on Sunday, August 17th
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: Ridleys Landing Dock - Sebasco Harbor (155
Parking: Bert and Callie Well's Field at 54 Ridleys Landing Road.
Shuttle will run starting 3:00 p.m. every 15 minutes.
Boat Participant Information
Both Commercial and Recreational Boats are invited to participate.
They will line up just out-side the southern entrance to the upper section
of Sebasco Harbor at 4:30 p.m. (by Can Buoy #1). At 5:00 p.m. they will
transit through the Harbor past Anna’s Waters Edge Restaurant, by Ridley’s
Landing Dock where they will be blessed by our local Pastors, and
then end at Nun Buoy #4 at the northern end.
Boat decorating is encouraged and boats will monitor VHF-
Channel 68. The on water organizer will be Proctor Wells aboard the "F/V
