As Phippsburg’s 200th Anniversary year comes to an end we would like to invite you to join us for the closing ceremony scheduled for Saturday, December 13th, 2014 at the Phippsburg Elementary School.  This ceremony will consist of awards and certificates for those who have helped make the 200th celebration a success, guest speakers, patriotic music, and presentation of the Boston Post Cane to our most senior resident.  We will also be accepting items to be placed into a Time Capsule which will be opened at the 250th Anniversary Celebration in 2064.  200th Memorabilia will be available for sale at the event.

The actual ceremony begins at 3:00 pm, however there will be a Cake Judging Contest (for people of all ages) which will take place between 2:00 and 2:30 pm and we encourage you to attend – it should be very exciting!
