Private Cemeteries

There are over one hundred private cemeteries on private lands in the Town of Phippsburg.  Although the cemetery trustees are not responsible for their maintenance, all residents are encouraged to respect these sacred resting places. We appreciate the effort made by some folks and organizations to maintain these old, private cemeteries. 

We have listed the area cemeteries below. The ones highlighted in red are Public Cemeteries.  A map of these cemetery locations is available for review at the Town Office, 1042 Main Road.
